Well, I came across this video last night and I really liked the song. We all know that it is a remake of the old movie, Don. But Kareena Kapoor did a great job! She accomplished the message the song was supposed to deliver: sexy, dangerous, melodius, beautiful modern women trying to trap Don.
I am die-hard fan of Shah Rukh Khan and don't get me wrong but I must say, this movie did NOT meet my expectations for him. I think it was because of his hair-do. I really didn't like the way they made him look on this movie. I really liked the movie overall but it still had so much expectations from me. Priyanka Chopra did an OK job but she fit the role much better than Shah Rukh Khan himself. Well, its a good time pass but the media did increase the build up for this debut!

Sanjaya steps up to the plate
Take a look at Sanjaya's performance in this youtube video:
And what's with the hair-do? Talk about being creative but I think he has a thing going on for him. He is just making it happen for himself. I do believe that he likes the popularity that he gets with his hair but sometimes this kind of fame can really backfire in a bad way. Hopefully, he can handle it with flair and doesn't let it get to his head. Moving on with this kind of performance, I felt that he actually is getting more and more into his music and really opening up. He has a great presence on stage with his growing confidence. The best part is when he feels and gets into his song, his performance is very explosive! Go Sanjaya...

Cowabunga - The Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles
This brings back so many memories as a kid. I use to be a great fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) cartoon and when it came out in video game, I was the first to get it. My brothers and I would play this game until we went over several hard levels, destroying the evil guys. We would then loose before we reached the next level and then start all over again. It was a fiasco and I used to have so much fun playing this. I also have seen the Cowabunga movie that had come out. Oh, the good old days...
Well, I believe we have a latest version coming out in animation. I can't wait to see America's favorite crime-fighting heroes, Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael and Leonardo on big screen again. They are truly one of a kind. You can read the entire history of the turtles here. Also, here is an exclusive video link: It's a clip from "TMNT". The best thing I liked about them is their comedy acts in between. I just hope that this release captures good laughs in as well as the action.

Tom Cruise in a Hitler Thriller?
Say no more! Yes, its Tom Cruise on the headlines again and this time he is set to star in the currently untitled World War II drama. The movie is pictured around the real events surrounding a group of German generals plotting to assassinate Adolph Hitler. Even though he said "ok" to star in the movie as a lead role, no role is yet specified. However, I suspect that Tom probably won't be playing Hitler. Tom's last movie was "Mission: Impossible III".
United Artists is producing the movie and Tom Cruise is a UA co-head. So this story doesn't come as a surprise. Cruise is also starring in a United Artists production, "Lions for Lambs". This drama category movie is set to be released on November 9th of this year. The plot revolves around injuries sustained by two Army ranger behind enemy lines in Afghanistan. This sets off a sequence of events involving a congressman (Cruise), a journalist and a professor.
I was just watch the Mission Impossible's last week and I must say, Tom is a great actor. He is a star and such thriller movies suit him very well. Although, I must say, his other category super releases like "Jerry Maguire", "Top Gun", "A Few Good Men" were all huge hits. Read the full story here.

Sanjaya moves ahead...Stephanie Edwards out!!!
Well, its been a great day for Sanjaya, yet again. He is moving ahead in the crowd. This time it was Stephanie Edwards who was voted out of the show. I was a little surprised to see her go because she had a lovely confident voice. But as for Sanjaya, he is still in the game and the best part was they had an idol fan who was given the opportunity to come on stage and meet the idols.
She must have been a big hit in school after that! But it was a dream come true for her. She was a big fan of Sanjaya and it was very superb of the show hosts to get her on stage and bring her dream to reality. I still could picture the expression on her face when she saw Sanjaya. Like I have said earlier, I am still rooting for Sanjaya. I guess after this episode, he now knows that he has got fans and he better keep up the good work and give it its all because his fans are supporting him, ALL THE WAY! Good luck to Sanjaya and the others!

Take on Anger Management
No, I am not talking about the movie. Although the movie does have Adam Sandler undergoing Anger Management therapy under the supervision of Jack Nicholson. That was a hilarious movie. 2 Thumbs up if you are a comedies junkie. But getting to the focus here, I was reading about Naomi Campbell and Boy George. Naomi, the 36-year old supermodel pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault for hitting her maid, Ana, in the back of the head with her cell phone. It seems that Ms. Campbell has a reputation for angry outbursts. Later, Ana was treated for a head injury. She was asked to do five days of community service and attend a two-day anger management program. What an embarrassment.
Its not surprising how you can let anger get the better of you. I am not saying that it cannot happen. It can happen but would an anger management program resolve it. Doing community service is definitely not the solution. Such outbursts need to be treated more effectively. Anger is caused by stress and stress can come from anything; a job, a partner, a child, etc. Here is a very nice link to a great article on the Anger subject.
George was also on the news for such a reason. He was also punished with the five-day community service sentence. While community service has always been advocated in courts, the punishment has gained a higher ground after the celebrity sentences. Yes, it is a bit funny if you can have seen the Adam Sandler's "Anger Management" movie but its is indeed not a laughing matter. Controlling your anger is a serious issue and can cause other health related problems, let alone the social ones!

Suze Orman - hit or miss?
For those who adore Suze (me being one of those admirers), I was rather surprised to learn that American's best known financial adviser is being looked upon as "out of touch". For starters, I know she has helped so many people regain their financial strength and has always given great financial advise to her viewers. Her latest book, "Women and Money", just hit store shelves and has been a best seller as the past books were. I feel that her show has personally helped a lot of audience with personal self-esteem issues surrounding money and finance in their lives.
This article says that she invests like a grandmother. The resources from this article are very vague and those that have said anything negative about her are not professionals in the first place. So I guess I am going to take this with a grain of salt. Personally, I love her advise and the way she makes her viewers feel about themselves in her show. She is a great women and has sound financial knowledge than others out there. I guess everyone can draw conclusions about her but I will leave that up to you. This is simply a women who does her best in trying to help others in need for some serious financial advise. She tells it like it is - that's one thing I love about her! Check out her site at Suzeorman.com.
